About Me

Hi! I'm Hallie (they/them) and I have been working as a mental health professional since 2020. I received my Master of Education in Counseling and Human Services from Lehigh University. I initially trained in substance abuse programs supporting folks with both behavior changes related to substances and mental health related stressors. While my work no longer centers on treating addiction, I did learn extensively about treating trauma, grief and loss, depression, and anxiety. I took a particular interest in how mental health intersects with identity stress related issues. These days, my work focuses on treating those who identify within the LGBTQIAA+ community as well as their allies with a variety of life issues including chronic stress and trauma, dissociation, family/relationship/interpersonal issues, and life transitions. My approach to therapy, while using evidence base approaches such as EMDR therapy, is also grounded in practices that are trauma-informed and affirming of all human beings. I believe in the importance of acknowledging the harm of oppressive systems and strive to create spaces that are equitable and accessible. Clients have often told me that they find me warm, direct, and easy to talk to.Whatever brings you here, I'm glad you're here. Feel free to reach out with any questions or to schedule a consultation at [email protected].
